Hey, we’re Kunal and Harshit, two guys in our early 20s, just trying to figure life out as we go.

As cousins, we spent our entire childhood togetherand if one liked something, it felt natural and almost automatic for the other to follow.

We’ve always been drawn to fashion and the hip-hop scene in the West, from keeping up with streetwear trends to watching artists make it big, one after another. That interest slowly turned into something we wanted to create for ourselves, and that’s how we started.

At first, there was no plan. No roadmap, no big announcement. Just ideas we kept coming back to for eg., saving references, reworking thoughts, talking about what felt right and what didn’t.

Somewhere along the way, those conversations stopped being just conversations.

They became Mahal.

We didn’t start from a place of knowing everything. If anything, we had more questions than answers. But what we did have was a shared instinct; to build something honest, something personal, something we could truly stand behind.

And in many ways, we’re still just getting started.
